Hi! This is the first of (hopefully) many posts on the GIKI Hub Blog, a space created to capture the life and events that make our campus what it is.

The thought came to me after the tragic death of 7-year-old Jibrael on the GIKI campus.

It made me think about how many important and emotional moments have happened here, yet we have no central record of them. Whether it’s All-Pak events by societies, concerts, accidents, the opening of new faculties (welcome, FBS) or the closing of old ones (farewell, FES), sports tournaments, feuds among students and societies, or even just the launch of a new item at Tuck — these moments shape our time here.

But too often, they fade away without being remembered.

This blog is an attempt to change that.

Our vision is to create a simple archive of everything that happens at GIKI. It doesn't have to be formal or fancy — just real stories and memories, recorded for the students of today and tomorrow.
